Presenting survey results at forthcoming Conferences

At the end of 2008 I conducted an online survey to find out attitudes to user documentation. It will come as no surprise to hear that many respondents felt that user documentation in general wasn't really very good. It's more than ten years since the publication of books like Dynamics in Document Design
and User and Task Analysis
so why should poor standards of documentation still persist, and what can we do to remedy this situation?

I am going to be discussing these questions and presenting my survey results at two conferences in the near future. On 20th March 2009 I am speaking at the STC France Conference in Paris, and then on 3rd-4th April 2009 I am presenting at the Information Design Association Conference in Greenwich (London).
